This variety is also a new one for me this year as I have had ‘Cupid’ in my garden for a few years which is a slightly more compact version, though the flower is the same bright white. This Veronicastrum feels a bit more formal and whilst lots of white flowers often brown or damage white easily i have found this to be quite a long lasting bright colour. However flowers should be cut as they start to fade to direct the energy back to the plant and a lot of cultivars of Veronicastrum are sterile so seeds are often not viable.
