Colocasia ‘Pink China’

I have grown Colocasias for many years and by far this is the least fussy I have ever grown, readily producing stolons making the plant larger year after year. Some Colocasia I have grown can be temperamental when in waterlogged soil or sitting on trays however the end of last year these sat in water through the whole winter and i had no issues with rot. Colocasia do not like to fully dry out and can be quite thirsty, so watering is key in maintaining healthy foliage and if flowers emerge I would recommend removing them to direct the energy to the leaves which are the real star. Whilst they can take direct sun i have found some issues with burning and would suggest indirect bright light for the larger portion of the day would be better when the plant is younger.
